On January 13, the 11th Guizhou Provincial Games, the winter event of land curling, kicked off in the basketball hall of the Citizen Fitness Center of Liangdu Sports Center in Liupanshui City. The kettlebell competition attracted 88 athletes from nine cities (states) in the province to participate in the competition.

The competition is divided into men's team and women's team. According to the "Land Curling and Competition Rules", athletes throw curling towards the center of the camp on a smooth track 24 meters long and 3.8 meters wide. During the game, there are 4 players from each of the two teams, who take turns to play. Each player throws 2 pots in each round. After 16 pots are thrown, the round ends. There are 8 rounds in each game. After the players from both sides have thrown all the curls, the points are calculated based on the distance of the curling on the field from the center of the camp, and the player with the most points wins.
